The alternative routing of the exhaust on the right side of the machine (the standard version runs under the bike) provides a more racing look, and the carbon fiber heat shield provides protection from heat and an attractive finish. Compared to a Suzuki GSX-8S fitted with the standard exhaust system, the exhaust offers a power and torque increase of 4.7 kW (6.4 hp) at 9,200 rpm and 4.7 Nm at 7,650 rpm respectively, as measured on the Akrapovič test bench.The exhaust features a resonator in the connecting pipe, giving the rider a unique sound experience with a racy and lively tone without compromising performance.
